Appearing on Planet Waves by Eric Francis (found on an old adobe mission in California) “The power in all great human works to endure far beyond the workers’ life spans.”

13 Chuwen (Jan. 27th) – “transformational monkey” – a highly creative “time weaving” type of

energy; it was a 13 Chuwen day in 2007 when the world’s top climate scientists announced

that climate change has been “firmly attributed to human activity”, as they called for drastic and

immediate action to address the issues associated with global warming. In their view this will be

the “biggest story of the 21st century.”

Today, I took part in an internet discussion on LinkedIn, which I rarely ever do...Do you believe in traditional Chinese medicine? Such as pulse feeling, acupuncture, etc. was the topic of the discussion appearing on a Medical Device group post.

Jim Capone, who states himself to be a Pharmaceuticals' Medical Device Consultant and Contractor had this to say:
"It's not complicated - it's called placebo (latin = I will please). While in some instances the placebo effect can be quite powerful, in others it is useless."

Often, when I hear comments comparing Acupuncture results to that of Western drug trials and their placebos, I find it is really quite humorous...uncomfortably so, in fact, considering the current noose lobbied by the boys & girls working on the wrong Pharm.

Still, I offer this for anyone who may be left over in that "Acupuncture is based on placebo" group. How does acupuncture work with such great success on injured horses, like those training for the top derbies in the World, if it is based on placebo?

I don't know any horses that talk like in Mr. Ed's case, nor am I a horse whisperer who can ask & hear what they "believe" about someone placing fine needles in their bodies.

However, I have seen and read numerous times, where acupuncture has been amazingly successful according to those working directly with champion horses....

Acupuncture was discovered more than 5,000 years ago and was recorded by the scholars of the first Yellow Emperor of China, making it one of the oldest medical data bases on the planet. The Ling Shu, one of the 4 classical texts, contains specific science relative to many of Einstein's theories that were yet to be discovered.

Whereas, many other forms of medicine in Asia were subjected to hundreds of gurus and various schools of thought, without a set of established governing rules, as does exist in Classical Chinese Medicine, which is what defines something to be scientific or based on belief. Asking if you "believe" in Acupuncture is like asking do you believe in Physics.

Most folks do not understand that TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) is what came to the western world from Mao's China in the 1950 & 60s. I am sorry to inform many acupuncturist, but if you have never read, The Ling Shu, which is commonly referred to as the "Cannon of Acupuncture" then you are a Chinese Herbalist more than an Acupuncturist. TCM is an abridgement of Chinese Medicine, like a cook book recipe version compared to the indepth study of Classical Chinese Medicine, which focuses on the art of needling for best results, and herbs for adjunct therapy.

In the western world, this is often the reverse because most all the Graduate programs in the West, and in the East, teach TCM now, and not from the complete system of Classical Medical text regarding this subject.

The Year of the Black Dragon: "black" metaphorically suggesting masculine aspects of water, symbolized by a cresting wave, where Energy from far away has been building to spill, and rises and dispereses--where sand and rock meet with sky. When did Congressmen & Governors begin striving to create a society of Billionaires (Mitt & Newt) amongst themselves? What a brilliant "capitalistic act" like the one known around the World as "GREED" !

When the metaphorical boots need to be used, place them on either of two feet first, then the other; pick one of the two up, pull it back and let it Kick these corrupted fools to the curb with a NATIONAL Congressional REcall...

And continue this process until they can get it right, for the People. Where politicians looking for and exhibiting excessive personal gains are out of the elected position, so to prevent them from oppressing the creative people working to thrive here.

Perhaps, the makings of a Bluegrass song ?

Dear Luna, HAPPY NEW YEAR (2012) Year of the Black Dragon
Black : represents masculine aspects of water--symbolized by a cresting wave--meant to suggest a focus on the way water moves, or relates to its enviroment, as in being built to spill when a wave's energy rises and falls where the sand & rock meet with Sky.

The cougars where we live cause the screams of mule deer at night, they shrek like a banshee's tone in the near distance...it's okay, or at least now, after the first go with it when I acutally thought our new neighborhood bordering the Deschutes National Forest was (perhaps!) hosting some transitional planes from beyond ... below is a sad story about a cougar being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or maybe that was the humans that killed it...? j.a.k.

May 31, 2008, Southern Oregon, according to ODFW statistics, is probably the area of Oregon with highest cougar populations per capita. Jeff, the father of these two girls, wrote me on June 1st, 2008, saying, "Yesterday, I killed a cougar in my driveway. My wife and several neighbors were having a yard sale. My wife let my girls ride their bicycles home to get a sack lunch and come back....[name] is 8 and [name] is 6. I have always been told I am overprotective, but when I heard the girls went home, I hurried off to check on them. Before I got 100 feet out the gate, I saw [the six year old] running frantically saying there is a mountain lion chasing [the 8 year old]. I went as fast as I could, hoping I would find [name] saying it ran off into the bushes, but as I approached I found a ghost-white 8 year old little girl staring at a cougar not 15 feet away. She was on the right side of the driveway and the cougar was 2-3 feet off the left side between two trees. I was riding one of the girls' little quads, and I pulled in between her and the cougar, [but] it did not even seem concerned. I asked [name] to stay behind me, and I let her go back up the hill to where the people were at the yard sale and told her to send Mom back with a gun. I stayed there about 5-10 minutes and the cat never turned or looked away until my wife came in the car, then she ran down the bank and went into a burrow where the creek carved under a tree stump. When another neighbor came, we walked around and scared it out and killed the cat. I was mostly concerned with the fact that it didn't seem to be frightened of humans. I am not small (6' 1" 275 pounds) and the cat was maybe 50 lbs (young female), according to "Jim Collum," Oregon State Trooper, who came out and picked up the dead cat."

Today is Alice's birthday, and to celebrate we are having a picnic after driving 20 miles through the deep woodlands surrounding Black Butte to a great shore near merging rivers flowing with mountain steam into a canyon lake, one rolling out of the Deschutes National Forest into the surrounding high desert.

I am blessed beyond words at what her love nurtures into being...and am so filled with thanks that she is my wife and such a warm-hearted kinda friend, who helps provide my visions a means of much needed structure.

Post-thought: Picnic was more like a deep freeze cause it never rose above 27 today, so we opted for a short-hike around Black Butte's woods looking for fun and a cozy fire instead.

Happy Birthday !

"We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it." --John Lennon

Once a Chinese emperor asked a hermit, Hsu-yu to take over the kingdom....and here is how Hsu-yu replied to the ruler:
"When the sun or moon is shining, what use is lighting a torch? When the rain is falling, what use is watering crops? You, sir, already rule the kingdom. Were I to replace you, it would be in name only. Name is the guest of reality, and I have no desire to be a guest. Even in a deep forest, the wren uses only one branch for its nest. Even beside a river, the tapir drinks only enough to fill the stomach. Go back, my lord. I have no need for a kingdom. If the cook fails to keep order in his kitchen, the shaman doesn't stop the ritual to take his place."

If people do not make the effort to remove the corrupt institutions which govern our lives then what will the seeds of our thoughts and dreams become as life continues in this manner of existence?

I never believed in Obama, cause I never “believe” in anything people say who are funded by large institutions with something to sell. To do so, is a contradiction in and of itself. And I am suggesting for humanity to become responsible about the destructive principals of our “beliefs” and how they have lead to all conflicts reflecting that of War.

Thus, it is controlling our beliefs that War pigs and Media hounds are forever attempting to make people “Believe” something, like Romney's slogan this campaign could possibly be any different than Obama's slogan in 2008 calling for "Hope" which is no more than superficial faith--yet, many bought into it, but not beyond the point of return to awareness.

Both, Obama and Romney, are flat-out and obvious liars (just like Newt and San-dork-um--Murdochs' US boy) and how anyone who is sane could vote for any of these posers in 2012 is beyond me, as if they would be truthful and not favor the elitist prats who put them in power...

What a hoax! It is just so eye-opening to really begin to see into the depths of their deceitful tactics and under the guise of being referred to as "constitutional" and "lawful" all the while.

I find this to be a curious question and expansive answer: When Buddy Roemer was asked if he would be attending the next Republican Presidential nominee debate, he responds by saying, "IT's a trick, I just want Justice."

i met a seat today in my home
a 70s-style middle school desk
we purchased from the re-store

after smoking my experience earlier
and fleeting into nothing more or less
where my body has become able to write from
i slipped into a tub of warm water mixed with epsom salt

there the realization retreated from the veil eroding within
resting upon the enamel's decay
i found something clear
clear in a sense to see
mystery's gypsy

clinging to her knees
as my hairy chest shows
I curl within her vine of death-
as birthed saged scented clouds

show the strength way of sun wu kong
blown through the sky's sunny meadow

California, NYC Take Up Corporate Personhood Amendment.
State legislators in California are introducing a measure today that would call for a constitutional amendment overturning Citizens United, the controversial Supreme Court ruling that endowed corporations with the same First Amendment rights as U.S. citizens and characterizes political spending as free speech, opening the floodgates for unlimited corporate spending on election campaigns. The New York City Council is expected to vote on a similar measure today, following passage in cities including Los Angeles, Oakland, Albany and Boulder. On Friday, Montana’s Supreme Court restored a 100-year-old ban on corporate spending directed at political campaigns or candidates.

Early this morning I watched the first ad President Obama's favoring Super PAC for re-election has thrown out there against his potential rival Newt G, who is doubtful to even become the Republican nominee in the first place. So what is the point of these ads from Obama's camp then?

All current polls in Iowa show ole Newt has already dropped off considerably due to Mitt's Super PAC funded verbal assaults on him being visualized in reoccurring television ads last week.

Talk about a waste of money and air space, as if Newt needs any help looking bad, unless millions of citizens here have contracted amnesia. What a hoax it is that we are said to be in such a state of great debt nationally. Yet, politicians receive millions overnight to fund their corporate-centric political appetites with desires to build campaigns around bashing other candidates rising in the tide; instead of building their campaigns on issues the populas insist need be addressed like creating Green Jobs and significantly cutting back on Defense spending.

With Barack Obama's new ad pointing out Newt G's corruptive behavior as being something that has been gathering baggage for years, and that it makes President Obama "HAPPY"at the thought of running against him...leaves me utterly shocked that our nationally elected leader can openly state and advertise himself as being glad about the corruption in Congress because of the frail caliber of opponents it produces to potentially challenge his re-election.

These ads focused on Newt's many flaws, no doubt, are a method where Obama's camp hopes to point out how the President's policy failures during his first term have been merely a result of the bunk Congress he has had to work with...and who better to point to than Newt G?

After all, he is still wearing his out-of-style Fannie-Mae cash pack from serving time as a consultant to them while his cohorts there were running the US real estate market to a point-of-distant-return, if it returns at all...?

NO eye opening realizations there, only the cold and uncomfortably humorous depiction of the fucktarded Brady Bunch-like, staged bickering of our Congress men and women on Capital Hill, District of Corruption, as we ride along with their dysfunctionality.

Yet, what is most concerning is their elitist whimsical wills being driven by the wealth and interests of large-scale private contributors, who care much more now-a-days about company profit than they do about the wellness of those people who are using their products and/or affected by their practices.

Thanks to the existence of what many consider "unconstitutional acts", private interest groups/corporations are allowed to utilize their financial means to "LOBBY" politicians into favoring their specific firm's benefit when creating United States policy and law, in order for the politicians to continue receiving campaign funding and super pac snacks....thus, sounding much like "lawful bribery".

These corruptive temptations need to end by being replaced with a completely different paradigm. One that does not so heavily favor potential life-time terms in Congress, which often grants them great ability to make huge personal financial dividends from kick-back rewards for pushing Big Corporate agenda through into law.

Another common temptation is when a congressional member is working to create policies which benefit them personally via "lawful insider trading"...where they are allowed to trade on stocks within the specific industrial sectors they are sitting on committees for...where they frequently receive insider tips and can trade stocks personally based on this information via their smart phones when taking a piss after drinking too much coffee during their committee meetings which are funded by United States citizens mostly.

These practices by elitist based United States' interest are placing great burden onto the backs of the less fortunate ones by asking for those who have less to pay more so to bring our financial institutions and defense spending into balance again.

And even more importantly, we need a new political shift that reflects a system of true checks & balances, so to protect United States citizens from these corporate cronies and their wretched wishes for the 99%'s quality of life.

Obama Signs into Law Indefinite Detention of Americans without Trial

Obama Signs into Law Indefinite Detention of Americans without Trial
He waited until New Year’s Eve to do it…but he did it. While expressing “serious reservations” about the bill, President Barack Obama on New Year’s Eve signed legislation that cements into law two highly controversial tenets of the war on terror: indefinite detention of terrorism suspects without charge, and the jailing of American citizens without trial. It also takes terrorism-related cases out of the hands of the FBI and the civilian court system and hands them over to the military.

Obama approved the bill (known as the National Defense Authorization Act), but at the same time, in a signing statement, claimed his administration would not allow the military to detain Americans indefinitely.

Civil libertarians were nonetheless outraged by Obama’s approval of the legislation. They claim that Obama is taking a “Trust me; I won’t do it” position. However, even if he does refrain from abusing the law, there is no guarantee that future presidents won’t imprison Americans and others indefinitely without trial or even without charge.

Anthony Romero, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), called Obama’s action “a blight on his legacy because he will forever be known as the president who signed indefinite detention without charge or trial into law. Any hope that the Obama administration would roll back the constitutional excesses of George Bush in the war on terror was extinguished today.”

David Gespass, president of the National Lawyers Guild, called it an “enormous attack on the U.S. and our heritage” and a “significant step” towards fascism.

The use of indefinite detention began shortly after the September 11, 2001, attacks when the George W. Bush administration shipped al-Qaeda and Taliban suspects and others to Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. Federal courts upheld the practice, agreeing with the Bush White House that the Authorization for Use of Military Force bill, passed by Congress only seven days after 9/11, allowed for the detentions to occur.

But Republican and Democratic lawmakers felt it was necessary to codify into federal law the power of the presidency to detain anyone—citizen and non-citizen alike—accused of plotting against the U.S. or providing support to those who have done so.

Obama’s supporters, including Republicans who normally oppose almost everything he does, have tried to defend the bill by saying that it doesn’t really go as far as its critics claim. However, the wording of the act, although carefully phrased, is nonetheless clear.

For example, Obama apologists say that it does not codify indefinite detention. But section 1021 (c-1) allows “Detention under the law of war without trial until the end of hostilities.” A U.S. president can take the position that he is engaged in a war without end. In fact, that is exactly what Presidents Bush and Obama have done. In addition, section (b-2) states that the law applies not just to members of al-Qaeda and the Taliban, but to any person who has “substantially supported” “associated forces.” Because these terms are not defined, Obama would appear to be free to interpret them as he chooses…as would be any future president.

Supporters of the president—and the members of Congress of both parties who passed the bill—dismiss the contention that American citizens can be detained indefinitely. Again the wording is clever, but disturbing. Section 1022 (b-1) states that, in regard to U.S. citizens “The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to citizens of the United States.” The key word here is “requirement.” In other words, the president still has the option to place Americans in indefinite military detention.

Some Americans may say that terrorism suspects should be stopped using any means necessary, and that if a few innocent people are imprisoned without trial by mistake, it’s unfortunate, but it’s better to be safe than sorry. However, there is now nothing to stop the current president of the United States, or the next one or the one after that, from taking advantage of the wording of the law and the fear of enemies to imprison whomever he chooses.
